Teaching English is my all-time passion and vocation. I have worked as an EFL teacher in several countries and with learners of all levels and ages. My first students were cabin crew members at Air France headquarters in Orly (Paris), many years ago. Now I work for the Servei de Llengües at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and teach both general and ESP courses.
My general courses cover a wide range of levels in the CEFR, from A1 to C1. I apply a communicative approach.
As for the ESP courses, nowadays I design and teach training courses for the administrative staff of the UAB. In the past, I was an in-company teacher for several corporations in Paris (France) and I worked with teams in the sales, marketing and communication departments.
I also have my own entrepreneurial experience as a partner and content manager at www.ejerciciodeingles.com. I am a course designer and I write and publish support materials for EFL. These materials take into account my own observations of difficulties Spanish/Catalan learners as well as Latin-Americans encounter when studying English – false friends, areas of erroneous transfer from their mother tongue, pronunciation difficulties, etc.
